This church music program is certainly fully-functional will all age groups represented. We have a solid program with GOOD music literature and a well-balanced worship choir. Choir practice is underway! Please come join us….all parts are needed. If you are interested in participating in the bell choir, singing in a duet or trio, or playing an instrument, please contact us.

Kate Phillips has served as organist of First Presbyterian Church for more than 20 years. She is a fourth grade teacher at Creekside Elementary School in Milledgeville. Kate is married to Roy Ed Phillips and has three awesome children: Cindy Marie who recently graduated from Georgia Tech; Wesley R. who is high in the ranks of Cingular in Atlanta; and Michael. Kate is an avid Tech Fan! |

Dr. Jennifer Morgan Flory was born in Staten Island, New York, and finally settled in Morehead, Kentucky. After receiving a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Music Education from Otterbein College (Ohio) in 1995, she taught vocal and general music in Columbus, Ohio. In 2001, Jennifer began graduate school at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. She completed a Master of Music in 2003 and a Doctor of Musical Arts in 2005, both degrees in Choral Conducting.
Jennifer grew up as an active member of the Presbyterian Church (USA) and was ordained as an elder while in high school. Jennifer and her husband Bill moved to Gray, GA after they were married in June 2005. She is the currently the Director of Choral Activities at Georgia College & State University and the Artistic Director and Conductor of the Choral Society of Middle Georgia. |
